heybige
Just put in a set of Momo Stealth Pedals for my 5EAT. The whole process, including the removal of the accelerator pedal assembly to drill the holes (ie: http://legacygt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=792 - thanks to GranTourer), took about an hour. Suprising news: the 5EAT brake pedal had pre-drilled holes that were a perfect fit for these Momo pedals. No need to drill through the metal brake! I did drill a new hole into the Momo gas pedal to get the fit I wanted. http://ltbmotorsports.com/mostpe.html

heybige
Yup, I actually have the Momo Sphere with the black trim. Not a bad addition for $69. Someone else has it on their 5EAT, just can't recall who. http://store1.yimg.com/I/ltbmotorsport_1860_1182305
starlabs
Nice job! I wonder how those pedals would perform when it's wet; doesn't look like there are any rubber knobs to help your shoes to "stick" to. But I guess it's not big of a deal for an auto 5EAT. Funny, I was considering getting one of those shift knobs myself. But when I saw it in person it looked way too big for my tastes. Ended up getting a carbon race airleather Momo knob instead. Still big, but not huge. -=- Livin life at 140 BPM -=-

heybige
Where did you purchase? What was the price? LTB Motorsports. Links are in original post. Just remembered - Dead pedal screws in via self tapping screws on top of the original dead pedal. Also, Keefe has these (manual version) in his 5-speed. Im dieing for WRX style pedals with a matching DP. no auto WRX's had the metal pedals - just crappy plastic ones. in fact, the new WRX TR (budget model) has plastic pedals even on the 5-speed manual. you could try seeing if you could purchase some SpecB auto pedals from a European vendor, but no one seems to have gotten very far with this. Mungo
Did my brake and dead pedal tonight. Go pedal this weekend. I was somewhat less impressed with the pedals out of the box than I thought I would be. I didn't expect to be able to eat off of them, but they didn't feel exactly "factory fresh". I suspect it won't matter after a few days anyway. The bottoms of my shoes are Nasty.
legacy2005
that's not an auto knob, is it? ya its an auto knob. not a big fan of the look though. looks to girley for me, i like the shape/size of the stock knob but wouldnt mind a new look for it, been toying with the idea of cutting a few threads off the lever as well to move the knob down some and lessen the amount of metal being shown under the knob. ie.(not for autos though ) http://www.ltbmotorsport.com/shadow.html http://www.ltbmotorsport.com/f16evoblacsi.html Work hard. Play even harder. My Garage
Mungo
Finally got it all in. Big pain in the butt. With these pedals it is absolutely necessary to drill through the go-pedal. It is not just optional. I used a heat gun to bend the stock-pedal a bit before bolting it to the new pedal. Also, I wasn't entirely happy with the adhesion of the dead-pedal on top of stock. I used some Marine Goop adhesive stuff in combination with the screws. Better now. Anyway, these are not the pedals I would purchase again. heybige
Drilling of the gas pedal is absolutely necessary. I don't think anyone suggested it was just an option. Sorry to hear you're not happy with the fitment. Mine is just fine. Only thing I would do differently is purchase the all metal version. The rubber "padding" is peeling from the brake pedal. toogrumpy
The subie Spec B auto pedals - I take it you cannot get the dead pedal?? It looks like you can only order the brake and gas. Has anyone ordered these from Japan yet? How do they fit? Also, wont a manual knob just screw onto the Auto shifter? Thanks Life is short - be happy:)
