First of all a thank you to all associated with this site. It is a awesome source for info and ideas.

So my rabbit hole story. I spent a fair amount of time working in the streets of

western Washington for a large telcom company. My duties included locating '

fiber cables, which involves painting the streets in live traffic. the two models to always watch out for Range Rover and Subaru. i flipped off more than a few of them a they sped by .

And so many badges, What is "partial zero" anyway?

I was offered a early out in Dec of 18. I took it. I always had a take home truck. So I needed a car. Christmas vacation back in south Jersey that year, I ended up driving my nephew's 2007 Legacy Special Edition. 92k and about 4 holes in the exhaust, loud but free is good.

Drove her all over SJ, up to Long Island. Coming home from NY rolling the jersey turnpike 85 in the rain , i realized why people like these cars.

Fun to drive, safe and heated seats. never had heated seats.

Bought for 2k . Put tires and new exhaust, and drove her cross country to Seattle . I became a subie lover on that trip. Comfortable , great mileage

went thru a 100 mile heavy snowstorm on i-70 in Kansas no problem.

Fast FWD 6 months , driving the curvy road home in SPORT mode. I wonder

do these come in a manual?

That's where it started. Legacy Gt,turbo what da hell is Spec b!

Which led me here, been a daily visitor since.

Got on Craigslist and there was a 2007 Spec b up north by Everett.

Got the keys from the sales dude. Opened the door, fell in lust.

i love the black and blue interior. took it for a test drive. Had to have one.

not that one 157k and he wanted 12.5.

I searched for a while, found "Loretta" in Phoenix Az.

Tacos Chiwas there is a insanely good. I hope its survived this nonsense

Bought her and brought her home.

Not sure what # she is. VIN says #04504, who knows.

I believe she was a factory demo in Southern Ca.

I pulled the VIN/warranty info at my local dealership, there is a spot

on the form that says SOA demo 9/29/06.

the Car fax shows service records at dealerships in Van Nuys and Long Beach

then auctioned off in Oct 07 and the titled in Utah at 7900 miles

Maybe she is a early six speed. that would be fun.

Her she is. I'll post more on what done to her (a lot) later.
