As you probably know, the very few sets of those wheels imported to the States were all gold. I rolled them like that for a few seasons in JDM style, but my color scheme really called out for silver. Thanks for the mention.

I need to get better shots but I couldn't wait to post a picture of this dusty gal after her first drive into work. Its been 9 months since I last drove it following plenty of work.

Bought her 6/05, 9.5 in condition 140k, Custom JMP VF40 waiting.

 

Just gave her a bath, doesn't get driven as much as she should, taking her to work tomorrow.

 

Still love the drive.

JDM rear bumper is awesome, I can't go back now.

Is it just the cover? Do I need a bumper beam or anything?

 

I have a quart of RBP in my garage and my OE bumper is faded.

Never going back to USDM. No bumper beam needed and I don't believe JDM even came with a rear bumper beam (can someone with a JDM wagon confirm?).

I was under the impression it's just the bumper cover needed, nothing else and it's P&P, but never tried to confirm

It’s just the cover, you remove the USDM beam. A couple people made themselves a new super thin beam, but I’ve just unbolted mine for now.

I like the usdm look. I'm sure it looks bucktooth to the converts lol. It flows well to my eyes

Having worked in auto body, no bumper beam horrifies me. There's a write up somewhere and I think you can get a legacy jdm bumper beam that's narrower and fits

Pretty sure it’s an EU rear beam, everything I’ve read says JDM simply doesn’t have one.

Sans roof box.

How you matched the shifter bezel to the double din trim?

It matches just as well in person too.. Good ol'fashioned plastidip.

 

Lots of sanding and scrubbing prior, but it's holding up well even when cleaning with a damp micro fiber
