securityguy
You can buy stuff on-line and at the store to get hard water spots off glass. Same stuff you would use on a glass shower door. Not hard to find.
ehsnils
Mix a little citric acid or other mild acid into water and try with that. Make it a mild solution and keep to household acids. Then rinse well. Don't pay extremely for stuff that you can get at the local supermarket. Clay bar and similar do a mechanical attack and can leave microscopic scratches that just makes it easier for stuff to stick to the window in the future. capttris
vinegar actually. Only use on glass, not on paint. Pour a little on a paper towel and rub/wipe. If it's already etched in, this probably wont work. Only for fresh spots.
