woodsie Posted May 30, 2007 Share Posted May 30, 2007 Put an aftermarket clutch in an '01 GT. Everything in the clutch kit was new, except flywheel was surfaced, not new. Only got 30,000 miles outta that thing. Free play, everything was good. Pedal was further out from the floor at engagement than the OEM, even right after I put it in. Anybody have the same problem? Car is rarely ever gearheaded. Should I go with Subaru genuine parts this time around? Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Flanders Posted May 31, 2007 Share Posted May 31, 2007 If you don't have significantly more power there is no reason to buy anything other than OEM. Mine has lasted 118k and still going.
