jhough77
If ultimately staying mostly stock, is it worth going Koyo or Mishimoto vs OEM? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
rhino6303
No. Stay oem.
BoozeRS05
Agreed, although you don't need to purchase Subaru OEM specifically. Lots of stock aftermarket replacements. But I'd suggest Subaru OEM radiator caps and thermostat, if you need to replace either of those. jhough77
Thank you both. Do you or anyone have any personal experience with aftermarket OEM replacement radiators? I did coolant flush a year or two ago upon purchase and replaced thermostat, Caps, and upper/lower hoses with Subaru OEM so I should be good with those. I think I’ll need radiator and cooling fans and am trying to assemble a parts list. From what I can see looking online the Subaru OEM radiator is ~$200 and RSD has an aftermarket OEM for ~$85. ashwinearl
I just got the Spectra from Amazon. I had a pinhole leak in the stock radiator on Thursday. I ordered it that night, and it was hear on Saturday. Installed it on Sunday and back to work on Monday. There is a thread from a few days ago, where a link was provided to the same radiator at significantly cheaper if you can handle waiting longer for delivery. The Spectra price combined with two day shipping is the price I paid for convenience
