Turn off codes to pass CT emissions?

If I were to turn OFF a P0420 in my wifes 2009 Legacy NA using romraider/ecuflash, would it pass CT emissions (OBDII reader) or would it tell them the code has been turned off and then fail?

I have a Vag-com for my car but would need a Tactrix for a 2009, correct?

You need to fix the issue, or delete the code forever.

If you just reset the ECU, take it to testing without driving it 60 miles or more, they can tell the ecu was reset.

The 420 code is the front O2 sensor, in most cases. Use a OEM one.

I know some of the 2.5i had cat issues too.

305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD).  CHECK your oil, these cars use it.

In NJ I was told to put more miles on the car before testing. I had replaced the battery (without having any codes thrown) but the computer at inspection said the car had insufficient miles to accrue the data needed for testing.
