Official Satin Pearl White Thread (2010)

It's times like these I wish it was possible for all dynos to just be calibrated the same. I'm pretty sure that's more torque than anyone has ever seen with these mods coupled with surprisingly unimpressive hp numbers. Do you have a stock run?

Also, do you mean 5spd AT?

@ Brainchild Customs - Your welcome bro, we had to change it to metal since we have several incidents when peak boost hits around 17+ psi the plastic oem charge pipe cannot handle the pressure and it either cracks or just blow up! There are only 2 companies that make it here, one is made from aluminium and the other stainless steel. We have experience also in Front mount intercoolers conversions since the weather here is really hot and humid, the top mount oem functions in reverse instead of cooling the intake air, it just do the other way around, heating it especially in bumper to bumper traffic.

@ eckseleven - yep, I agree withe dyno thing. We have other members that tuned their leggies on the same dyno but attains different torque results. Most get a reading of between 300 ~ 380 lb ft. I got 406 lb ft , 244 whp with boost set at 16+ psi, in our local club mine is the highest so the nicknamed my ride "Torque Monster". My tuner expects the downpipe design which I got from MRT Australia, it's design is to increase power by eliminating boost creep. My Stock torque wass 198 lb ft. I do most stop n go traffic most of the time so I prefer this set up suited for rapid 0~100 kph time, some of our members have a power rating similar to yours 260~300 whp with 18~19+psi and their torque is around 340~380 lb ft. which is good for highway driving. In my case, it's more related to one's ideal day to day driving style and here in Manila, we have few long and wide highways like yours in the States mostly city driving. It also depends to who is your tuner, we used the same dyno here by we get to choose from 4 different tuners that holds different approaches to tuning so its expected that results would vary. I got the torque specialist, his name is Nino. He's the owner of the fastest 9.6 sec 1/4mile Toyota Corolla here.

I dont know if its the same tranny as yours but the one we have here is the JDM version, 5 speed Sequential paddle shift AT. Subaru calls it Lineartronic. I know that the CVT for the newer 2012 2.0liter DIT Legacy turbo that pumps out 305 Hp(stock) that was just released in Japan has a different tranny. I heard its very efficient so fuel economy for that model was clocked at 10 km/ L or 23.5 mpg for city driving. Subaru insiders told us that this engine will be available in the Phils. in 2015 alongside with the all new model :(

It also defaults to an 8 speed AT and will not run in CVT when in S# engine mode... It will actually shift up and down between gears in D - so even on deceleration it shifts down automatically...

When in Si or S modes it is a 6 speed in Manual shift & CVT in D...

I have just finished my 2nd tank of gas and it is full-on winter here in Hokkaido but I can tell you that - so far - it's not that kind on fuel around the city, even in Si mode...

Guess you found a suitable highway! That's crazy...

In Central Europe the only place You can safely do this is the Western Frankfurt Highway (approx. 20 km long, 6 lanes per direction, no speed limit...:)).

Last year I took the chance to check my Vmax right there (gps said "198 km/h")...and while I did 2 Porsches (a Cayenne and a 911 GT) got past me at ≥ 250 km/h :cool:

Really sounds like a great trans, wandering if it will ever make it to the USA mainland? ...would be a great option for those of us who have wives that like or prefer an AT : )

So am I and as I am going for the oem look for my exterior, any 2013 people with 18" wheels want to share the part number off of them? Wait do the 2013 come with 18" wheels ??

...the 2013 2.5i Sport comes w/the wheels you're looking for. I don't have a part number though.

Yeah they are for the 2.5i sport, and they look even better in person I think. I don't have the part number though, or at least I don't know where to find it.
