GravityGear
O HAI GUISE! So it's been a bit since I popped in here. Just wanted to see how my old stomping grounds look now. Been a couple of years since I sold the LGT. Seems like there's more people building up their 5th gens, which is nice to see. I still remember prototyping the RacerX stuff and snagging the prototype Invidia Q300 straight from Invidia. I also remember the feeling of ripping through my first auto-x with the AST coilovers and everyone asking me why I would put race suspension on a Legacy. What an exhilarating time in my life. I see the current owner found his way here as well. Love to see that. So after some hard times, the house is in order, my career is in order and it was time to upgrade from the beater I was driving after selling the LGT. I'm a huge suspension nut, so I love desert racing. I won't be doing the whole stance thing with this, nor will I be putting on an LT suspension. An MT/ET setup will do as I plan to use it to haul stuff and tow future things. Well, just wanted to see what all the old heads were up to and what the new ones are bringing about. I miss the 6 speed!!!

Sent from my ONEPLUS A5000 using TapatalkMaybe 3k miles. But the AST's haven't made it on the car yet....over 3 years they've been sitting in a cabinet. Hey GravityGear! Good to hear that things are going well! Most recent pic of the GT taken last week and I'm selling the Forester and bought a more capable off-road rig. Mods are in the works. Scubaboo
O HAI! One of the n00bs here, glad to see one more of the pioneers on here (or any enthusiasts for the matter, we are few and far in between lol!). Good to see you are doing well! I recently went through the archives and it looks like not much has changed, still nothing for us but "just so happened to fit" parts from other Subarus. The one guy who decided to cater to the huge untapped 5th gen market (RacerX) recently said £♡<€ it and bailed, probably because he couldnt handle the overwhelming demand. Oh, and GTEASER, now our moderator, still isnt driving his car.

islandborn
WOW! Welcome back! Good to hear from you and glad you're doing great. We've had a bit of a shift from those that bought these cars first and started modding them from the start to newer owners buying them secondhand and traveling the old roads. I'm on my new fully built engine and a custom FMIC running E85 now....actually its getting a new clutch fork and pivot ball as I just blew mine up. Didn't know you bought ASTs. Put those things on. They will amaze you. I'm surprised you still have the 5th gen GT. You go through cars like underwear. WOW! Welcome back! Built engine, FMIC, E85... yeah. that's the jam right there. I know by the time I left, a lot of the first owners were on their way out. Looks like a lot of the second and 3rd owners made their way on here.
