xavierrr
I have a gen 4 , I got the stock spoiler with brake light attached. http://www.spoilerfactory.com/2005-2009-subaru-legacy-spoiler-factory-style/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cse&utm_term=2444 I originally wanted to replace it with a lip spoiler but it's kinda grown on me and now I'm unsure. I really like the roof spoiler and lip spoiler look though. http://i.imgur.com/pAkp7kxh.jpg I also think no spoiler at all looks pretty good too. Just don't know what I wanna do. apexi
The impression I get after years on this forum, is that most people here don't like spoilers. I have the stock legacy spoiler on my car, and I like it. The roof spoiler and lip spoiler looks good too though.
katalyst
I don't mind it either. If it's already installed on your car, it's not worth it to uninstall it when you could be spending money on other things.

THE RZA
Like what?… Lol… Beer, girls, vacations, tattoos, other hobbies that don't involve modifying a family sedan.
xavierrr
Because other people won't like it? Nvm all the other modded 2.5is that have been posted up here..or the 2.5i imprezas out there as well. I won't mod that family sedan, but the fact id piss so many people off just by modding it almost makes me want to mod it. Like honestly it's also my life and my money. I was reminded that I wanted a different car before I got involved with Subaru , so I'll just focus on that for now.
THE RZA
Lol you modding it doesn't piss me off. We're giving you sound advice as a 20 year old, but don't be mad when something comes up and you really want to do it and you don't have the funds because you spent them on modifying your car. THE RZA
I'll put it to you this way dude. Here was my 2009 2.5. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160406/a929700442c4411692566de7269bf45a.jpg Looks sweet right? I bought that brand new when I was 20, I probably spent an additional $2-3000 in to it of money that I barely had in the first 2 years I owned it. While it looked cool, it was still slow as shit. There were other things I wish I spent my money on life experience wise instead. Once I made more money I bought other cars that were faster and easier to modify. I've probably spent over 4-5k on mods (aesthetic and power) on my WRX I have now, but I feel better about it since it's a better platform to modify. spec.B Dream
Why is a WRX a better platform to modify?
THE RZA
More parts available to modify one than there is for a naturally aspirated engine.
