For LGT drivers, what's your current mpg?

Recommended Posts

Just wondering what I should be expecting numbers wise? Obviously dependent on how heavy my right foot is but I'm trying to be good during this fillup to see what actual numbers are. How far do you get before your empty light comes on?

I average between 21-22 mpg per the car calcs running around. I haven't done any highway yet. That is on a stock car with Cobb stage 1 tune and axleback exhaust driving in sport mode.

When I daily drove it on Stage 2 with a VF52 at the time, at about 40/60 highway to city I averaged 22mpg. Now that I don’t daily drive it anymore and it’s a fun weekend car, I average about 15mpg with some other upgrades since it was a daily.

This time of year, I'll get 25mpg for my average. Most of my driving is highway with some back roads. My morning drive to work is 32 miles, about 28 of it at 62mph on the highway. Coming home, depends on the traffic or if I'm shopping. Today was highway, with a little traffic slow downs.

Winter time seems to be around 23mpg. during the week, weekends in Winter it goes to VT after work on Friday and back to CT on Sunday. The long drives that time of year it will get 24-25 mpg.

These cars and my 98 GT and 00GT wagons all were listed at 22-24mpg.

305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD).  CHECK your oil, these cars use it.

I'll get 350-370ish from full to low fuel light when I drive from Vegas to San Diego all freeway. Usually do that 2 times a year. Daily driving in Vegas freeway and around town I'll get 320ish miles to low fuel light on. That's on ID1000s, gtx3071r, ELH. 128k miles. E85...forget about it hahaha
