Mulenga
Hello folks. I have a 1999 GT B Etune Legacy with 150,000 kms. Recently whenever I drive it hitting 120km/h the temp gauge rises, it starts overheating. What could be the problem? It doesn't overheat when driving below 120km, could it be the clutch? I recently serviced the radiator n replaced the thermostat Sent from my H4233 using Tapatalk
RumbleRumble
What coolant and what kind of thermostat did you use? Sounds like a air flow issue maybe even water pump. Make sure the cooling system is burped full then go from there.

ace2
I've just done my fourth EJ206 cam-belt, water pump etc and it took me ages on the previous ones to properly refill cooling system. This time I made a 'burper tank' from an empty 1 litre Kikoman soy sauce bottle. Saved me hours. I think you can buy properly made ones in US but not NZ. My kludge worked fine. KermitDrivesASubbie
Burping is rather important for these pressure systems. I had an issue after a thermo swap, would get hot sitting, then cool as I drive, I'd pull over, make sure resevior is full, undo rad cap about 1/4 turn and let Er rip. Don't open to much or you will suffer extreme burns. I promise you this!
KermitDrivesASubbie
Why don't these have a bleeder valve?
