My initial impressions were not so good, but after driving with them at night, they're absolutely fantastic! I guess the problem with them during daytime is that because the color temp is 5000K (daylight), the were completely washed out by the sun. At night, especially with the high beams, nighttime becomes daytime. I paid $83 for each of my sets.
krot84
I think of installing them as 9006 Fogs. Because i don't know if they're legal in my country to run as headlights.

jeffy2.5xt
im in for pics as well. technically speaking the leds should best the hid's in every way, less sensitive to abuse, less heat, less power consumption, and longer run life. but that is all in the physical attributes and "should be" output is the big question. Steve R.
I have been waiting for the right time to do a TRS retrofit on my specB, but after seeing these, I might give them a try because of the massive amounts of issues people have had with the retrofits. I work at a Honda dealer and have been impressed with the 2013 and 2014 Accord Touring, with its factory LED low beams. They are quite bright and are instant on, but I don't want a $40k fwd v6 sedan at this point in my life. Frankly it looks like for terms of install and not to mention cost, these may be worth it. fishbone
Currently lurking, so I thought I would point out that these are rated at 2200 lumens, and the OSRAM Rallye halogens are rated at 2100 lumens. Not saying CREE leds would not have advantages, such as lifespan, color tone as well as no dimming over time, just saying they're matched by good old drop-in halogens at about half price for the pair, and still don't match HIDs at 3400 lumens. That being said, I'd like some pics

badtiming
Alright guys everything is installed! Overall I am happy with how they look! They aren't quite as bright as HID lights but definitely brighter than the halogens. Install was a pain for the low beams.. I guess subaru decided to make it extremely difficult for us to reach them lol but I had to stick my arm up into the wheel well and install everything with one hand. Anyways here's some pictures as promised. http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14/09/20/95efa071025c82bf0cff58d91386329e.jpg DRL http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14/09/20/850ba6a40769ac54148e6a7bc99974c8.jpg low beams and fogs http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14/09/20/69ee00ecdb334d0487cf09ec93048e76.jpg

badtiming
I also bought the fog light bulbs, and the 9005 bulbs for the high beams but I strongly suggest getting the 9005kit for the high beams as the bulbs are pretty much useless and only serve as a DRL. Dispatch20
I just installed CREE H7 led lights in my low-beams in my 4th Gen. Here are the ones I got: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2014-New-40W-4800-Lm-Cree-LED-Headlight-Kit-Bulb-9005-9006-H8-H11-H4-H7-/131224044422?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1e8d900386&vxp=mtr I actually bought these new in the box on Craigslist for $40. Pic 1: Right side: Philips H7 Halogen, Left side: Cree LED Pic 2: Frontal view of Halogen and LED Pic 3: Comparison of Halogen (small) versus LED (large) Pic 4: Massive backside of LED. Interferes with the plastic water cap. Also, the metal retainer spring clip is a pain due to the large size. You really have to cleverly bend it around. Pic 5: You can see the adapter wire harness. Dispatch20
Now I need to figure out how to fit a plastic covering around the giant LED bulb to keep moisture out! I didn't see that issue coming.
