jasejase
Hey Mike... Im looking to order one of your saggy butt kits. My newly installed pinks have a SLIGHT sag in the rear. WOuld you recommend ordering the precise size you need to raise it? Or is there some math involved? I've been told by a couple ppl, that if you wanna raise it up 3/8", order the 1/4" kit, as the suspension load lessens... Looking for your rec before i order! m sprank
Order the shim you need in the size you need. The shims are placed on top of the top hat. Essentially thickening it. They do not preload the springs at all. If you want to go up 3/8" use 3/8" spacers.
jasejase
Thanks mike... How long do you recommend letting this thing settle before taking the final assesment for spacer sizing? its been just about 2 days now. Also, im thinking the easiest way to do this is, just to take out the entire rear strut so im not fighting it the entire time, even if i dont have to replace the studs.... ? m sprank
I would wait 2 weeks. Easiest to just drop the rear strut out, slap on the shim and put the strut back in.
jasejase
Thank you sir... Two weeks huh? Maybe the front will continue to drop during that time, and i wont need em... here's to hoping! oh well, i will push the alignment off a bit.
