Unresponsive touch screen

The touch screen on my 2015 non nav radio suddenly became unresponsive. I replaced it with another radio and it works fine in the car. I want to use the old radio in my shop. It works, but because of the unresponsive touch screen I cannot change source. Is there a way to do this without the touch screen?

is it really cold out? I notice that when it is near 0 or colder the touch screen in my loaner 2019 impreza does not work well at all.

It went out during summer and the radio is in my shop now. I found a new touch screen plate and replaced the one in my radio but still unresponsive. Must be in a circuit somewhere. I only have power and speakers hooked up to it. I can change the FM channel but not the source. I would like to listen to AM as well. I wondered if there were hidden menus to access.

 

Also, is there a way to do a hard reset and return everything to factory?
