ficklepenny Posted June 4, 2020 Share Posted June 4, 2020 i have a 05 legacy gt i bought it with an aftermarket exhaust on it and muffler deletes it has a accessport and stage 2 tune. where I live you have to have mufflers on your car so I ordered a new exhaust with mufflers and installed it now the car will turn over but won't start unless you spray starting fluid in the intake. if you get it started on starting fluid it runs horribly and will die if you take your foot off the gas I tried everything I can think of has anyone else had something like this happen or have any clue what it could be ? Max Capacity Posted June 4, 2020 Share Posted June 4, 2020 (edited) The exhaust will not cause your issue. Unless there is something inside the new exhaust that is stopping the exhaust from flowing. Is it plugged ? I have changed the exhaust front the Down Pipe back on my cars a number of times and it doesn't effect the tune. Unbolt the mufflers and try and start the car.
