Antennaman346
Hey all, I've got a few codes for front O2 sensor/mixture lean/front heater circuit errors. I gather starting with a new front O2 is the best course of action. But anyone suggest a specific one? 2009 Outback XT 5spd perrin catted downpipe, AVO tmic, cobb stage 2 on 93 Thanks. Max Capacity
I posted that in this thread a while back. Lot's of good info there. https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/idea-web-links-saved-various-parts-219238.html For the rear O2 most of us with Tunes, have that code deleted. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. Antennaman346
This is a 234-9120 and that connector is not the same. I'm looking at what I think is the right one here https://www.autozone.com/engine-management/oxygen-sensor/denso-exact-fit-oxygen-sensor-234-9035/259599_0?rrec=true But it says it's not heated and one of my codes is Front 02 sensor heater control circuit. So is this the right part if not fault code is implying I need one with a heater circuit? Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Max Capacity
I seem to recall the front sensor is the blue wire/cord, the yellow wire/cord is the rear sensor. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. Max Capacity
Here's the front O2 in my 05 GT wagon from years back. I see it appears to have a black/gray outer cord. But you can see the inside wires. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it. Max Capacity
Oh dear, here's a front with the yellow outer cord. The yellow could be on my 2009 Spec B...? Not the upper one in your picture with the orange inside. See the picture from the link (in post 10) showing the Denzo sensor connector. Please show us which sensor has the double blade white inside in your hand, I'm confused about what your showing because I can't see all the blue cord. Or which end is attached to which cord, yellow or blue... Edited October 26, 2020 by Max Capacity 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. Max Capacity
I see the 234-9035 is showing as the correct sensor for a 2009 Partsgeek shows a sensor looking like it has a orange inside for a 2008-2009 2.5T https://www.partsgeek.com/gbproducts/DC/28724-05205669.html?utm_source=google&utm_medium=ff&utm_content=DN&utm_campaign=PartsGeek+Google+Base&utm_term=2008-2009+Subaru+Legacy+Air+Fuel+Ratio+Sensor+Denso+Upstream+08-09+Subaru+Air+Fuel+Ratio+Sensor&utm_source=google&utm_medium=ff&utm_campaign=PartsGeek+Google+Basecid=6774379819&aid=79287199093&keyword=308174267216%3A%3Apla-308174267216&kid=308174267216&gclid=Cj0KCQjw59n8BRD2ARIsAAmgPmIDq12CSIlGTcSlVrPVrsQdUWr7CvpCz6-UTJAHty0zsP0VaL-en1saAiXYEALw_wcB#immersedview Autozone shows the same orange inside for a 2005. But you can see mine for a 2005 is white inside. When you enter the info for a 2005 on partsgeek, you get the sensor with the white insides like mine. So may be I should update the link I posted in JmP's sticky. Edited October 26, 2020 by Max Capacity 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs.
