Unsp0kn
I figured I'd have a progress thread to document happenings with the LGT rather than flood the other threads and have it get lost. I bought my 2011 Legacy 2.5GT in SWP on December 15th 2014 in Salt Lake. This car was definitely well cared for and looks showroom new everywhere but the front, has some rock chips and the lenses could do with a good polishing just to smooth them back out. Other than the minor stuff on the front, it's absolutely gorgeous! The drive was amazing, averaged 28mpg according to the computer and from what I can tell, it's pretty accurate. Not 15 minutes after leaving the dealership and my first mod was underway. Had ProTint in Sandy, UT wrap the roof in satin black! Future plans -Podi Electronic Oil Pressure Gauge -Invasion Fabworks Skidplate -Repaint front end On the lot: http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/EvolutionEleven/Facebook/Storm%20%2011%20LGT%20Limited/10922600_10100538849952574_2973013229484266023_n.jpg It'll be a conservative and slow "build" if I can even call it that. just want to make it more me while keeping it a great family car. Unsp0kn
Thanks! Mounted my AP with a cheap universal phone holder, works great for now. Love the increase in horsies and torques! Also nice to be able to see water temp and boost now when I want. Thanks for the MPG gauge, Subaru. http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/EvolutionEleven/Facebook/Storm%20%2011%20LGT%20Limited/11081238_10100577261630264_4616242370414405512_n.jpg

Unsp0kn
Installed the Mach 2 in about 30 minutes yesterday evening. Not too difficult, just very limited working space. I ended up removing the OEM unit and the return hose all as one since it was just easier to get to the lowest clamp and get it locked open. Some pics (crap ones) of the OEM vs. GFB. And yes, I know my engine bay is dirty. Taking care of all that today. The Mach 2 sounds nice, it's louder than OEM for sure and has a nice little whistle to it, it sounds great! I haven't messed with the spring tension yet, GFB says you can dial in throttle response and that it will hold boost no matter where the spring is set. Blizzard
Yessir, that's the one! I read some reviews where people complained that the spring was too soft on the stiffest setting, keep us updated if you adjust it.
Unsp0kn
Picked up a set of Tein Street Basis from s2baru Friday the 4th and installed them this past week. Wasn't as bad as I was thinking and the car looks money now! The ride is great too, it's firm, but not uncomfortable at all. The car feels more planted and doesn't roll as hard when cornering. So far I'm very happy! http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/EvolutionEleven/Facebook/Storm%20%2011%20LGT%20Limited/12006147_10100695395888264_4220081984853816755_n.jpg http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/EvolutionEleven/Facebook/Storm%20%2011%20LGT%20Limited/11990432_10100693268092384_1609633413947023774_n.jpg http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/EvolutionEleven/Facebook/Storm%20%2011%20LGT%20Limited/12002831_10100693268097374_7923646067579000030_n.jpg
FLlegacy
Since you installed these, can I ask if you have enough adjustability go back to close to stock height? Or are they designed with a drop in them? I would love to do them with the set for sale on the MP but don't want to deal with lowering my car.
Unsp0kn
I'll have to look again, they should be able to be just about stock height but I can't say for sure. I want to say that there is a drop built in. I have lots of room to go lower though.
FLlegacy
Thats the issue I don't want to lower my car, I hit the front on the pavement as it is. I guess I could get a spacer for the back as well, but that is more money...probably approaching Koni insert prices at that point. Thanks for the info. s2baru
Not to intrude here Ty, but yes you can get them up pretty far. Before trips I'd raise the up 1 1/4 up front and about the same in the rear. Thatd be close to stock. My guess is you could go up almost 3/4-1invh more aftet that too
FLlegacy
Not intruding at all I hoped you would chime in since they were yours. Thanks a bunch one more question if you dont mind. Would these be better for daily driver than koni inserts? No tracking or anything like that.
