mohamimi
Goodevening ladies and gentlemen, making an inquiry, does engine of Subaru legacy 2003-2006 fit in the Subaru legacy 1992?? All turbo? Sent from my TECNO CD8j using Tapatalk
ehsnils
Should go into the 1st gen forum. But it depends on what you mean with "fit". Physically - yes, but then there's a lot of surrounding items that are different, so you might need to also transplant the ECM from the later model years and re-route a number of hoses and a lot of other things. Nothing is impossible, but it can be hard. Is it a manual or automatic gearbox?

Max Capacity
Looks pretty much like the engine bay of a 4th Gen size wise. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it. Engine Build - Click Here

mohamimi
What is wrong with your current engine? It's been overheating, cylinder gasket changed now over 5 times, water pump, oil pump replaced, ylinder to wide not accommodating pistons 2 n 3 Sent from my TECNO CD8j using Tapatalk

But I'll let others chime in on differences in engines between the model years.
