Speed Volume Control gone and Vocal Image Control msg on Limited...

My '20 Legacy Limited with Harman Kardon audio (Canadian model) has received a software update but the Speed Volume Control is now gone. Also, the Vocal Image Control icon is missing.

 

I find this very disapointing for a supposedly high end system not to have these basic controls. The Mazda 3 that I traded on the Subie had a 7 "speed" SVC on its base 6 speakers radio.

 

My dealer is helpless although I demonstrated the problem on 3 different vehicles. I reached out to Subaru Canada asking to escalate the issue to tech support.

This isn't going well. My XT never had the option and I miss it on almost every drive. I was hoping they would add it since the others had it.

Just got this picture from a '21 Outback Outdoor (Canadian model with base radio) press vehicle and it has a "3 speed" Speed Volume Control. Curiously, the Harman Kardon radio still doesn't. Subaru Canada doesn't answer my claims.
