mikecsti
The rear speakers are dead, no sound at all. it's all oem. The front spears works but the front driver speaker just started going in and out. It's random and not all the time. Would it make cents that both rear speaker blow at the same time? is there a fuse for just the rear speakers.
ehsnils
No fuse for the speakers and it's most likely either a connector or the head unit that are the most likely culprits. Wire speakers directly on the head unit and see if you get sound. It's a bit tricky, but you should be able to do it.
mikecsti
Thanks, got it, it was the speakers, pulled the door and tested the wires and it was getting power. connected another speaker and it was fine. So I replaced all four speaker. I never heard of two speakers going at the same time but they did.
doublechaz
Did you let someone else drive the car? I lost both rear speakers when I loaned the car to someone who liked really thumpin rap. They pretty much treated the car like it was stolen. No longer friends.
