Boostjunkie Posted January 9, 2006 Share Posted January 9, 2006 I'm still mourning the sale of my 19's but Rommel stopped by today with some goodies to help ease my pain. I'll have pics of my installed RBS painted front lip spoiler and rear lip soon, but I'm waiting on some hardware for the install. One thing I'll note is that while some vendors have come in with a slighly lower price, RBS uses a flexible resin to make their eyelids. I didn't think this was of signifigant value till I installed my eyelids. Using double sided tape, I had to reposition them a couple times to get the right fit. The adhesive on the tape is pretty aggresive and it took a pretty good tug to get them off. The eyelids bent a good amount while doing so, but were none the worse for wear. I'd imagine that if the eyelids were make of brittle fiberglass, I'd have a couple pieces of eyelid in my hands instead. Just something to be aware of. RBS is quality and this product is reflective of that fact. They are the RPM angel eyes kit. They have absolutely no purpose other than to look cool! I have mine wired to my fogs that are modified to turn on anytime the ignition is in the "On" position. I think the eyelines are okay but would be a lot better if it is longer and connects all the way to gap where the hood meets the bumper. I however got a smoking deal, as I paid quite a bit less on a set with tires that had only 1K miles on them. They get here on Thursday... I can't wait! BTW - are those the 6000k or 8000k? They are supposed to be the 6000K, although sometimes I think they slipped me the 8000K.
