htmong
I bought a 2000 Legacy Wagon a few months ago. The passenger window has never worked and is stuck at the up position. I have some spare time in the next few weeks and I'd like to fix it. Does anyone know what the common issues are? I would rather not pay a few hundred if it's possible to fix it myself. Thanks for any advice you guys have!
Lego see
Most likely either the switch, motor or regulator. Hard to say without seeing it. Remove the door card and inspect the area, if you can hear the motor operation and the window doesn’t move or you see any snapped wire behind the trims you’ll need a new window Reg. Operate the switch and if you can hear an actuator click (not the switch it selfs physical click) your switch is probably fine and it’s the motor at fault. RustyRuu
At night since we have a lot of it this year, point the car at a wall/ garage hit the switch. If the lights dim it's the window regulator if they don't it's a switch.
