Turbo_Face
So, Me and my dad installed a new clutch/flywheel into my 1997 Legacy 2.5GT this weekend, and now I'm getting a bit of noise when I push down on the clutch pedal. We installed an Exedy Stage 1 Organic Racing Clutch and ACT StreetLite Lightweight Flywheel along with a few other necessary parts such as: Pilot bearing Release (Throwout) bearing Clutch fork retainer clip Release bearing retainer clips Really the only things we didn't replace are the clutch fork and the dust boot. The noise can be described as a faint scraping, and it only happens when I fully press down on the clutch pedal and the clutch is disengaged. As for drivability, besides the obvious changes with a lightweight flywheel and racing clutch, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the clutch operation. It is gripping very nicely, and when I press the pedal down it disengages properly. The noise also gets a little louder when I am taking off and have the clutch slightly engaged with more throttle. So basically, is this normal? All new parts so of course they need to be broken in, but has anyone experienced this before? Thoughts? Thanks.
