Yeah! It's very easy install. The instructions threw me for a loop, so the 1st one took a while to make sure it was right. 2nd one took about 5 minutes.

Here's the best instructions I can give.

Step 1:

-Pull the rubber liner down on the front and rear windows.

Step 2:

-Remove the 4th screw from the front of the channel and install one of the two larger brackets. (You'll see them in the bag of hardware)

Note: this was the part that confused me. The wording in the instructions makes it seem like you need to take all the screws out and remove the channel. When, in reality, you only have to remove the one screw.

Step 3:

-Clean the black moulding above the windows. This is where the visor will stick to.

Step 4:

-Grab visor and look for the split in the protective tape on the double-sided sticky tape.

- Peel both sides back about an inch, or two, and fold them over the top of the visor. This will allow you to grab, and remove them, after you have the visor positioned and clipped in later.

Step 5:

- the exposed sticky tape should now line up with the installed bracket when you hold it up to the car.

- slide the back lip of the visor behind the bracket to clip it in.

Step 6:

- Grab the 2nd bag that contains the 10 smaller brackets. (You'll use 5 for each side of the car.)

- position the visor and ad the clips. The clips grab the channel and then push up into the visor to clip it in.

Note added by BarManBean: the bracket locations are NOT approximate. There is a holed drilled on the inside of each visor that connects exactly with each clip. Make sure to start each visor in the correct location and then install secondary brackets likewise.

Step 7:

- finetune your positioning and pull the rest of the protective tape off the sticky tape to secure the visor.

Step 8:

- push the rubber liner back into the door frame.

tip: I used my key fob to push the liner back in. I found its a lot easier than with your fingers. I'm sure there are better tools, but that's what I used. It's smooth and round, and doesn't risk tearing the rubber.

Step 9:

- stand back and admire your handy work.

Barmanbean,

How'd you find the part number to originally find the visors? The site is impossible to navigate without part numbers, and I'd love to see what else is available.

I know. I tried to find a couple more part numbers to look for stuff but wasn't very successful and didn't have much time.

Basically if you can find the OEM part number you should be able to find it. Problem is that a lot of the JDM vendors (avojdm for example) seem to use their own reassigned part numbers and obviously those don't show up.

JDM parts catalog anyone?

I found the visor part number searching here on the forum, IIRC. Was looking at buying a used set here, figured I'd make sure there wasn't something out there that was competitive on price for new stuff, and stumbled on partsouq FTW!

I have a double din... I can pull it out and see if part numbers are on it...

Also. I found jdm extending armrest with storage...

I did enter my vin # and was able to look up every single OEM part for my car. But they were all usdm. They have them all sorted into groups and you can click on them and find specific parts... literally has EVERYTHING listed.

Just installed mine. Thanks for the notes, Kalien!

Only other tip I would add: the bracket locations are NOT approximate. There is a holed drilled on the inside of each visor that connects exactly with each clip. Make sure to start each visor in the correct location and then install secondary brackets likewise.

I guess what we need is a vin number for a JDM car?

Good note! I didn't even notice... I'll have to go back and make sure I did it right.. although, I doubt mine is going anywhere.

I have some friends with jdm cars. And some in Europe. Maybe they would share their Vin with me and I can find some parts...

From what I've read on this site, the E3610AG000 & E3610AG010 are the EDM part numbers. Sounds like they're suppose to be the the same though.

I've thought about getting them a few times, I guess they could be for Christmas..

Got our first hard rain tonight, after installing my visors.. was very happy with how much you can vent the windows while on the freeway... this was extremely heavy rain. I didn't feel any water. Had the drivers side down just as much..

The visors look great and I want a set, but I also use a Yakima roof rack throughout the year for snowboarding and cycling. 1st world sedan problems.

Sounds like it's time to get a wagon. ;)

I had the same first-world-sedan-problem before I got my wagon.. wanted the visors really bad. But I go to the slopes every year...

They will restock. And you will get an email when they do... same thing happened to me. Willing to bet it'll be about a week.

I received mine today, literally the best packing job I have ever seen. Wood encased box wrapped in plastic and taped!

What other parts can we get from this site?

Right?!?! I loved that! And the wood is good wood for making parts for my rc planes!

I found center console extending armrest with extra storage.... both black and tan.

Do these visors allow you to have the window fully rolled up, and still close the door?
