kc_crunk
I have a failure in my charging sistem, the problem is from de start, in cold it's retarded and in the scanner the data list from my vehicle say 12.4v in low rev, but in 1000 to 4000 rev its 13.6, and highest to 4000 revs again say 12.4v, could be the regulator from the alternator or is an a failire for the ecm??? Or where are the problem??? Enviado desde mi LG-K580 mediante Tapatalk
ronemus
That's a feature of the new systems to maximize EPA fuel mileage. Most charging is done when you're off throttle and coasting or braking to a stop. There is a TSB to change the charging to top up the battery at all times. Most folks have been able to argue that it's a manufacturing defect so warranty coverage applies. There are a couple of extensive threads on this - search is your friend. m sprank
What make/model/year and country of origin car are we discussing? Giving your experience is great, but only if it applies to the op's car.
