4 way flashers won't turn off, 1991 Legacy

I'm sure this is addressed somewhere on the forum, but I'm not savvy to the search features.

 

The 4 way flashers started and will not stop.

 

We have tried various permutations of keying, three times, five times, leaving the key on and disconnecting the battery then reconnecting and turning the key off an back on, locking and unlocking the doors, etc.

 

We cannot find a fuse under the dash that affects the flashers.

We cannot find the alarm interrupt button.

 

I really need this car.

 

Please help.

if you unplug the flasher switch and it continues to happen, chances are there is an aftermarket alarm wired somewhere under the dash. you're gonna have to dig under there.
