jbatchelor
Replaced my head unit with a Joying 1024x600 unit. Have it all installed but I'm at a loss for the what these remaining cords are. My suspicion is that they are for the line in and the amp / sub / back speakers. So my question is what is the best way to wire that into my new stereo. 2009 Legacy 2.5i Special Edition 4AT Harmon Kardon Audio Radio Model: 86201AG72A http://s7.postimg.org/m7whn22ff/unnamed.jpg New Stereo: http://s15.postimg.org/yl2fl43ob/unnamed_1.png
apexi
I can't see what color all the wires are, but maybe aux input? *Actually I completely misread the diagram below. I think that might be the i85 connector though.
jbatchelor
Thanks apexi I think you are right. Now I need to figure out how I missed the hooks up for the H/K amp. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
coldsoda
the black wire on the left side of the pic looks like a ground. Here's info on the i85: http://ae64.com/Legacy_Gen4_HU_Transplant.htm http://ae64.com/i85_transplant_harness.htm more good info (source): 2009 Models with harman/kardon If your car is a 2009 with the OEM harman/kardon amplifier and speaker system, see this post. Most 2009 owners have connected their aftermarket HU's speaker outs to the h/k amp without any problem. If you would prefer to send your HU's line outs to the h/k amp, you'll have to add male RCA plugs to the 14-pin harness — nobody currently makes a version with RCA plugs. The 2009 h/k amp is triggered from the car's +12V Accessory power (on whenever you turn on your key). There is no amp remote trigger lead on any of the 2009 OEM HU's harnesses.
