GTEASER Posted May 27, 2015 Author Share Posted May 27, 2015 (edited) May 2015 - 48,000 miles Installed Perrin 2015 WRX Short Shift Adapter (PSPINR201) This install went pretty smoothly. A 3/16" punch with a socket and extension on the end was used to get the roll pin out of the shifter shaft. Wow! What a difference in shift throw. Major improvement!! INSERT PICS She got her first bath and detail since last November. HDPE at Laguna Seca - 5/24/15 with NorCal Racing (www.ncracing.org) Went with Fredrik94087 and his 3.6R beast Shrek. This was my first time on this track and I was a little hesitant about the corkscrew but had a fantastic day, learned the track quickly and set a fast time for the day of 1:56.97 on the second to the last lap of the day. Altogether I ran about 48 laps at speed. The car performed fantastically and we had a load of fun!!! The hitch weighted in at 43 lbs and was fairly easy to install with the included instructions. I went with the Group 34 instead of the stock size Group 25 thanks to brandon.mol. It has 770 CCA, about 180 amps more than the stock size. It is about 1" longer, but 1/2" shorter and 1/2" skinnier. Fit fine but the OEM battery cozy cannot be used. Got it from a West Coast parts supplier called Fast UnderCar for $147 including tax. They have many locations in CA and few in ID and WA. Still have to route the cord, but at least it covers up that damn stupid useless Fuel Economy gauge.
