I have been wanting a Subaru for a long time and while it's not new it's a step in that direction. The official reason I got this car so my wife can have the Mini van all of the time after we have are second child. I would preferred something new but that wasn't in the budget.

It looks like the dude I bought it from got it from a repair shop. I don't know the whole story but it looks like the head and valve cover gaskets are brand new, so I won't have to worry about them for awhile. The engine runs strong. The body is clean and the tranny shifts strong. I drove the heck out of it on the hills outside town and the 4WD works great.

The breaks needed a cleaning and lube and I had to throw a set of pads on the front, I haven't checked the back yet.
The compressor for the A/C locked up, it can wait a while for the repair.
There seems to be a small trans leak right above the exhaust.
The check engine light keeps going on and off, not sure what going on there.
There is a bit of excess body roll I think I may need to put on some front struts.
