I said besides hitting target boost. That was directed towards the knock and my boost levels themselves being related.

As far as taking it to a shop, I do appreciate your openion and help but at the moment I would like to try a little more on my own. If I do mess something up that's my own fault and that will be a lesson learned making you right.

To me it looks like I have 2 issues going on as far as predetonation and not hitting target boost. I haven't replaced spark plugs on the car and I got it about 20k miles ago so I'll be doing that and properly checking for boost leaks by pressurizing the system. If none of that helps ill be replacing parts that I may suspect being the culprit.

As far as the target boost not ever being close especially with Shamar saying it was good makes me want to dig a little more into that with him if he gets back with me anytime soon.
