Different type of thermostat. I'm not gonna monitor the temperature, I'm just adding in pieces of hard ware to control the flow.

I got it installed today. It will "open" if the fluid is too hot and pass it through the external cooler. If the fluid is cold (<160*) it will remain closed and let the fluid go straight back to the pan.
