If the car's been involved in a front-end collision, depending on severity, it's possible (likely) that the cams stopped when the radiator crushed backwards against the covers and stopped the cams. That means there's cams and piston/cylinder damage.

Recent purchase? Dealer sale? Take it back to whomever/wherever you bought it and tell them to fix it.
