Meh it's not like I can't shift, but I did learn most of driving manual in racing simulators so although I did not grind (at least not until the synchro started to die), I probably needed a heavier duty gearbox and clutch to handle my driving style, not a low-end OEM Impreza one. Whether they like it or not, I'll have to move out in the next year or two when I transfer to a university.

After driving 5EAT on the Legacy though, I think it's more than fine. With so little miles on this thing, I can buy a BRZ for "other things" after I graduate while keeping this ride as a daily driver. Subarus for life!

......well if they'd stop making the new ones so damn plasticky inside.
