  1. Awesome. I am almost ready. I just need to find out where i saw something about some "knockoff" yet identical looking head light assemblies for cheaper than subaru.
  2. Ok, so i read all the way from page 1-22 and my eyes hurt and i would like a quicker method of answering a couple of questions. What is the best lens to purchase and replace the factory one with that is considered direct drop in w/o mod? I have the 08 lights and gather they are frosted so clarity can be gained from replacing those. I have the AFS version projectors coming which i believe just means i need to trace the current shield pattern onto the RX shield and trim to match, does this apply to the 08 shields? Other than that i think i have got the general idea. Anyone know where i can pick up a spare set of 08 headlight assemblies for non subaru prices? Thanks Also, i have a digital ballast for the H7 setup. Am i correct i just need a D2s adapter harness and a D2s Bulb to make it work with my current ballast? Would this be a good lens for direct replacement in the RX AFS housing if i am planning on using all Lexus parts? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CLEAR-PROJECTOR-LENS-E30-S2000-FX-D2S-LEXUS-RX-AFS_W0QQitemZ230340711471QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item35a160542f&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=65%3A12|39%3A1|72%3A1205|240%3A1318

  4. mine has been sticking for over a year now. i forgot to get it looked at while i had it under warranty. on a side note, it only has the problem with rolling down. In the 30+ times it has happened to me it has never been a problem for longer than 5-10 minutes and it has never been a problem with rolling it up, only down.
  5. use the clutch to shift into or out of any gear.
  6. Nice to meet you too Allen, I'm sure sean mentioned your name, but sin cei never used it, it didn't stick with me. And yes, i do have sean, who has a sweet ass silver wagon which i love. We spent a large chunk on saturday afternoon/evening doing photo shoots across town, racked up about 150 pictures. I'm trying to convert everyone over to subies ...i've been working on my parents for a year or so now, i think they'll break soon..maybe by mid next year.
  7. TSi..its ok..btw, what can i call you besides TSi, you can just call me Frost. LAst name and everyone calls me that for the most part, aside from my parents. If i get a bit over a months notice i can request off of work for meets that require that much time off, though if its a weekend it has to land on my rotation off of the hospital. But i can't wait to get together with a bunch of the guys, it sucks living down here where no one else is near by. I left a note on one guys LGT sedan at the hospital, but he never signed up here, other than that there is a silver 2.5i roaming around town and thats it. I like exclusivity, but i'd like to see another suby at least once a month. Guess i'll just have to roll by seans apt at night after work
  8. BTW timbuktu...meatwad just grabbed his wagon from the shakers..and we came from south western Indiana to get it
  9. Well, i for one did not see you, however..i did run down a black legacy...guessing it was a GT by the way it was humpin it on the highway..all badging gone..and when i did finally get in front of him it was too dark to see his hood..but he huffed it easily up to the century mark..probably freaked him out..he passes a LGT sedan, the LGT wagon, then the sedan rockets after him chasing him down Any idea who this may have been..it was either in Ohio or maybe Ky..think it was still OHIO..maybe meatwad can clarify where we were. All in all..i got no waves from all the subarus i waved at on the road trip..though one oubtack wagon of a slightly older nature..early 2000 maybe with 2 young gentlemen in front and 2 young ladies in back got a kick out of me singing and dancing on the highway.
  10. I had cross drilled rotors f/r on my 98 camaro Z-28, ran about 25,000-30,000 miles on them, and they weren't easy miles. I liked to run that car at high speeds out in the open, as well as on the back roads, lots of hard braking from speeds ranging up to 160 mph, to lower speeds of 30-40, and i did lots of hard braking, hard excel, hard braking..ect...never had a problem with brake fade, and i never cracked any of the rotors. It all depends on what you are going to be doing. If you are going to be braking hard a lot from higher speeds, or lower speeds, the added saftey of slotted or cross drilled rotors is probably worth the extra expense, since life is priceless and it can save one. If you are a normal driver who obeys all posted speed laws, a normal rotor will be just fine for you. IMHO
