  1. You might try on the 76 pages prior to this one... Maybe he was distracted by your avatar...lol
  2. "Im gonna put a happy little bush right over here...."
  3. At 74kish I took my bolt out, tipped it over, and the filter slid out in my hand...lol...hench my question about this destroyed one...
  4. ...and destroyed. Was it in that shape when you took it out or did it come apart when you took it out of the bolt?
  5. RWD, and therefore not nearly as interesting as frank_sters build...
  6. Subscribed...partly cause I love seeing people that were making a quick (and inflated) buck being ousted by the DIY crowd, partly cause if the future allows it I'd love to throw some more power at this car and actually play with it, and partly cause I dont think Ive ever read a thread by ClimberD and not learned something...(or at least made my brain hurt) Keep up the good work, man...
  7. Its not the bolt, its the screen in the bolt. You are right, half leave it out, half put a new one in, and yes leaving it out will let any debris and metal into the turbo that the screen would have caught. The debate is if the screen is clean what would have gotten into the turbo anyways. But if you leave it in, and somthing gets trapped in it, it could choke the oil flow to the turbo. On the other hand if you take it out, and somthing large gets into the turbo cause the screen is gone, it could take out the turbo anyways. Hope that helps...
