FS:Tri-State NY/NNJ - TRMotorsports MT1 18x8.5 +48 5x100 Matte Grey wheels-SOLD!

Im selling my 4 autox wheels since i wont be needing them any more. They are TRMotorsports MT1 18x8.5 +48 5x100 Matte Grey wheels i got from the tire rack a couple years ago. they are 19lbs per wheel so they are fairly light for the size. These were listed to fit a 2004 WRX STI so they are BBK friendly. They are no longer available new in the specific subaru 5x100 +48 fitment AFAIK. They are made in Japan, using the same process enkei uses (Enkei makes these wheels for the tire rack)to make their light weight racing wheels(i.e. RPF1), but specifically for the Tire Rack as their own brand.

These wheels have never been driven on the street as a daily wheel, ever! They were only used in autox competition, mounted on the race site, and then removed before the drive home. As such, the rims are not bent, the lip is perfect and the paint is near perfect aside from a couple small nics on a couple of the spokes, but they are soo small, you can barely see them from more than a couple feet away. I gave them a quick cleanup for the pictures to show the good condition, but the buyer will be able to clean them even more.

Mounted on the rims are a very corded(worn out) set of Hoosier A6 255/35/18 tires. So if you want to try and see how a fat tire setup will fit your car, these will be the largest and widest thing you'd want on a DD. i didnt have the tires taken off because they will add to the padding if i have to ship them.

Id like to sell for $700 OBO picked up. Id really prefer a local pickup, but will ship with the understanding that the buyer covers any and all shipping fees.

The tire totes are not part of the deal. Im keeping those.

Pics attached

PM to secure purchase.

+1 for these wheels

They will clear Brembos easily and they are as light as mentioned!
(I have a set of them with Brembos :))

@whitetiger what suspension were you running with these tires? If you could PM me that would be awesome trying to figure out if I want to go 235/40 or 255/35 next.

pmed you info.

For got to mention that these come with nifty full metal valve stems, so it nice and easy to fill or check pressures.

Nice...will these require fender mods if running 225/40s?

whitetiger 08-21-2012 10:05 AM

no, they will fit no problem in that size

bump. these are much better wheels than rotas. Made in japan, they used the same MAT cast process as Enkei RPF1 wheels. so lighter and stronger than cheap knockoffs.

Spec B 08-23-2012 11:54 AM you have any photos of these on the car while stationary?

whitetiger 08-23-2012 11:59 AM

hmmm..... gonna have to look, but i dont think so.

you are in the area. why dont you come by and bolt one up and see if you like it.
