I'm in here too!

Considering the disposition your avaitar conveys I can see you have lost faith in the concept of good people.:lol:

Anyway I am not surprised that people here are reaching out. This is a great community. Several times I have just about given up on the butt hole posts and remarks then someone, or some group of people here prove me wrong. I have said it before, I am proud to be part of this community.

With that said, subscribed. Now put a big rainbow as your avaitar  and lets get that GT burning gas again, errr E85 again!

Good luck on your rebuild

As for a smart ass comment, do it right, buy one of those diesel boxers I saw someone post on here that you can get.

+1 for e85. No denying it's safer then gas when it comes to knock

Subscribed. I'm on the edge of my seat. Curious of the point of failure.

Go for it, Surly. If the acronyms begin flying, a word of explanation would be helpful to those of us who are interested, but not as conversant as we would like.
Best to you.

Good luck Surly. Hope things go well and its good to know theres still people out there who are willing to lend a hand. If i was closer, i would contribute a case of beer to the effort as the real work should be left to the professionals it sounds like you've already got on the case!!

If you need to get OEM parts, send me a PM. I may be able to get them at close to wholesale through my guys out here in MD.

MNSubaru has a good relationship with a couple of Subaru dealerships around the Twin Cities, we get a damn good discount on parts purchased.

It saved me a mint when I did the spec b arms, sti engine/trans mounts, etc.

They'll treat Surly right as well.

Just read the what did you do to your 5th gen thread... I'm in awe.

There truly are some amazing people on this forum. Can't wait to be part of the LGT community

Subbed for awesomeness

Just curious: what have we gotten that paypal account to so far?

When I was in my moto club in college, anytime someone crashed, it was just an automatic thing that we started collecting funds to help them get back on the road. Glad to see it still happening.
