Save some time and labor and do the fuel pump yourself. As long as you have an empty-ish fuel tank it's an easy job. Plus you don't really need to tune for it, so you wouldn't need a limp map to drive to Cobb.

I'd think the parallel fuel lines wouldn't be needed unless you're going bigger than the 18g down the road somewhere...

Agree on both points. Given the way the stock MAF scaling is set up you will run even richer up top than with the stock pump, but not enough to hurt anything.

Never satisfied and building.... Ordered the TMIC from RacerX thermal coated and rode up to Cobb Tuning in Plano for a pro tune! Yeah baby! Here is the result: 278whp/334lbs of torque.

Not too shabby. That TMIC does good work to flatten it out a touch.

What turbo and who is tuning it?

ttboy19 11-09-2012 11:18 AM

Same setup as islandborn, except 91/e85octane. Will also have an extra turbo if anyone is interested.

ebo03 11-14-2012 11:01 AM

Any updates ttboy19?

Great thread - I'm not sure how much longer I can live without stage II or III or whatever you'd call this monster. Color me jealous, but very interested.

Sorry if I missed it, do you plan to run E85 at any point? you have the headroom on your 18G.
Im sure it will be a great 335i raper

No... not yet.... E85 is around here but I drive all over and finding the stuff... I'd just worry.
