ericgu
I'm adding a stealthbox to my 2007 outback wagon, and I'm looking for advice on wire routing. The head unit is a nice Alpine deck, and I'm going to put the sub amplifier under the passenger seat; that part of the wiring seems simple, but I'm looking for advice on how to route the speaker wire to the sub. Also do most people pull the front seat to put in an underseat amp?
KSpan
Pulling the seat makes it much easier.
stoggy
Pull the seat for sure, save yourself the headache of trying to work around it. I have a 5 channel amp under mine and I removed the seat. Its 4 bolts, 1 connector and 5 minutes. Also I routed my wire down the passenger side door sills, under the rear seat and through a hole I drilled in the rear seat wall. I used a grommet to protect the wires from getting cut. Hope this helps.
