Need you to upload those pictures directly to the site. Edit you first post, go advanced and select the paper clip (manage attachments). From there you can upload the pics from the URLs using the 'Upload file from URL' boxes.

I'll do that tonight after I get home from work.

I interpreted the rule as upload the photos to an album on the site and then link it, I did not realize it meant attach it to the post. Thanks for the clarification.

spec.B Dream 07-18-2012 10:07 AM

Great looking car. This is exactly what I'm working on building. GLWS!
Since this has been sitting for a while, would you consider parting out at all?

Thanks. I don't think I would want to part out the car. It would be too much time, effort, and money to do that. In the end I'd probably lose more than selling it as is. Plus, the car is excellent the way it is, at least in my opinion.

Scooby2.5 08-07-2012 03:49 PM

Nice build and would think easily 20K for the car. People may POO-POO that but holy crap its like a new car with all this stuff on it.

I swear people want stuff for cheap when used.....

Only thing I think limits it is loan value probably.

Anyway nice build and free bump. Id keep it!

Thanks for the compliments on the car. My starting asking price was $22k, but had to drop the price to get people to bite. There were a lot of views but no one would contact me. To people who appreciate the build, they know it's definitely worth more than $16k. I have received one or two unsavory low ball offers that I did not appreciate, but that's the way things go when you're trying to sell a car.

I just want it to go to a good home where it will be taken care of. I put a lot of time, money, and thought into building out this car. I would keep it, but I don't drive it often enough and it's getting expensive having two cars. Thanks for the kind words and free bump! You've got a pretty nice build yourself.

specialB 08-07-2012 09:46 PM

If I knew it would last 100K miles the way it is, and if I sell my car...I'm still damn interested in this thing. what a great project. bump it up

Scooby2.5 08-07-2012 10:19 PM

It would. If you have seen my build I drive it every day. My only car with the exception of my wifes van.
Heck I drove mine recently 1700+ miles to detroit from Kansas City MO.

If its done right and tuned right it drives like stock, but when you step on the gas look out!

This is a well built car...... worth every penny.

Im glad I saw it. Ive been curious about the 1.5xtr turbo.

I mean who in their right mind wouldnt buy this thing for 20K. Its worth more than a new stock car.

100K on a car today is nothing if taken care of and hell its got 10-15K in the motor and tranny itself.

GLWTS

Yea thanks. I plan on keeping mine. I hate car payments and when you dont have car payments you can have fun with a build.

Ill be driving it for a long time..... 185K and still going. 2500 miles a month

thats my whole dilemma. I still have about 21 months left on my payments, and I'd much prefer to sell it then when I owe the bank nothing and I have more to put towards something like this.

Scooby2.5 08-07-2012 10:24 PM

Ill say this last thing and then quit. 6 speed is designed by Porche built by Subaru.

They RARELY fail.... Im sure pistons are forged in the motor. R180 rear with spec b axels.

Weak links are gone if properly tuned.

LOVE my 6 speed DCCD.

Bump i just wanted to reiterate how good of a deal this is. I know the owner and the money put into it. He is meticulous with his car.

Hell if i had the spare monies i would have bought it from you! BTW what did you end up getting?

Thanks, appreciate the kind words! It's been a while, hope all is well with you.

I ended up getting a 3-series. The LGT is still amazing and a ton of fun to drive, but I just wanted something else, something different. I don't have a need for two cars so I decided to sell the LGT.
