  1. Possibly, but the issue didn't go away when I had to swap to a new battery.
  2. After I got my spark plugs and valve cover done this issue seemed to go away. Now I gotta figure out where did all my coolant go from the time I dropped it off at the shop and picked it up? I am fuming
  3. not a great video, but it shows what is happening a little bit. Now to remind you, it only happens when it is below freezing, and only for the first 2-3 minutes of a cold start, warm starts a fine, when it warms up it's fine.
  4. I went to start up my car (stock 2008 legacy gt) to go for a ride, and the engine was very erratic during idle. The car started fine was I idling at around 1,500 rpms after a few seconds it jumped up to around 2,200 rpms, then dropped to around 400 rpm about to stall, and it stayed like that for a few seconds jumped back to around 2,200, then dropped back to 400 after the engine warmed up just a little bit (Maybe a minute or 2) the idle went back to normal. This is not the first time it has happened to me, but it only happens when it is below freezing outside. Any advice?
  5. About half a year later, everything is still fine, the only money I've had to put in was for new tires, and I just put in new plugs recently. Cars been running smoothly So far I hope I don't jinx it.
  6. It's "technically" my 2nd car, but since my parents gave me my old one I don't really count that since it was never really my car Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Okay thank you, I think I'm a little bit too worried about my car. It's just a lot different from my piece of shit 2005 Chevy Malibu Maxx, and I just need to get used to the sounds that it makes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I forgot to add from what I've been noticing the pops only happen when shifting at a high rpm (which I normally won't be doing for the most part) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Hello, I'm pretty new when it comes to these cars and I was wondering if these exhaust crackles are an issue I should get fixed. I know to some people they sound cool, I don't mind the sound I just want to make sure it's not harming the car in anyway. Everything is stock besides an Invida catback exhaust, and I plan on keeping it all stock. I'm probably going to get a pro tune in the near future because right now it's running the Cobb OTS stage 1 tune.
  10. I'm so excited to get this thing plated and on the road, it has 160k miles, pretty much all stock besides an invidia catback exhaust and stage 2 clutch. Original Turbo, I know these cars have a high potential to be money pits but ima do my best to keep her in good running condition, I don't really drive that hard. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
