  1. Have been more than happy with mine. I like the 6 cyl, a bit more pep and regular gas with decent mileage. Only thing done was Head Unit replacement
  2. Would have sworn there was an XM radio renewal thread here but I cant find it. XM renewal is due in a few days and full price $320+ isnt happening. My offers are $99 +taxes + royalty fees for 1 year....you know a special offer for me only:lol: for $122 All Access or $38.35 for 6 mohths. Does not include sports, Howard Stern, etc. Tried getting down more as last year was around a solid $100 total iirc, but she just said we can cancel. Wondering what plans others are getting and did you call a special number, use a code, etc? Thanks
  3. Weird. Tried every time Ive been in car and now after a week, SATELLITE CHANNEL (NAME) voice command has started working. SATELLITE CHANNEL (CATEGORY) is still totally messed up though.
  4. Searched but did not find this. After some random quirky head unit activity began recently and the volume not always working without restarting the car, the dealer found a TSB and said the amplifier and head unit needed to be replaced. Said it was something they did all the time. The phone and bluetooth did not work correctly afterwards (message download, contacts, etc) but a factory reset resolved that. However, now, some voice commands for XM radio, specifically Satellite Channel (name) and Satellite Category (type) do not work. The software is at the latest version. Satellite Channel (name) will not find any channel at all. Says it may be off air or pronounced strangely. I can use the Satellite Channel (number) to go to a station, but nothing is found by name e.g. Bluesville, 70s on 7, Fox News, CNN, etc. This function worked in the old unit. Satellite Category is more bizarre. Some categories are not found at all e.g. News. Rock seems mostly correct. Country pulls up 3 Christian stations saying they are country. Politics pulls up Howard Stern. Most are like Country pulling up the wrong ones. Waiting on a call back from service but does anyone have any ideas? I've checked manual, car settings, mic settings, air vent flow direction, etc. All of the other VR commands seem to work. If its a bad XM module, why just these commands? Thanks
  5. Received an email about new software available for 2017/2018. In the past thought we were blocked from applyig it ourselves. Curious to know if anyone has done the update and how it went? 6. Mentioned in the other thread. This redesigned pin is what they replaced to fix my left front clunking.
  7. I've read the posts about losing XM presets but I've got the opposite problem. Recently, at random times, I lose the presets to all commercial radio stations I have while the XM ones are fine. I had the HU and Nav software updated to latest levels back in Dec iirc. Did not find related posts. Anyone else had this happen? Figure to have dealer look at it when I go in for distance remaining recall fix.
  8. My AA has been flakey ever since I installed it. Customer service wanted to blame on my phone although it worked fine the first few months I had car. The other goto guy at the dealer is an Apple guy so not much help there. Also the AA button on the head unit is never active.
  9. Ive probably put 300 to 400 miles on car since the fix and so far have not had the noise return.
  10. That's what they replaced on mine yesterday although they said nothing about replacing steering rack. The tension spring has been redesigned. Didn't hear rattle on way home but that was not far and I didn't get out much in the car today to see if it is really gone. edit: drove the car a fair amount today. No immediate rattling before getting out of the drive this morning. No rattling about town as I went over train tracks and rough road. It may actually be fixed!
  11. We will see if it fixed the rattle but my dealer replaced (according to work order) eps gearbox backlash adjuster/sleeve/ spring. Said it was a new redesigned spring to address the issue. I guess this had to do with the power steering gearbox.
  12. I suppose in theory that is possible, but my Beatles seems to stay on vinyl never making it to the car while the Blues goes everywhere I really need to make more use of the voice commands. The legacy recognition is so much better than my last car. For tagging, are there any recommendations beyond MP3TAG mentioned above?
  13. Meguiars has been my go to wax for quite a while but I have moved from the paste wax. Have been using NXT for a bit. Need to get a coat on the 3.6R now that weather is better.
