  1. If this is actually possible without too much of a drop (I might be ok with up to an inch) this would be my preferred solution. Have you gotten the parts yet or any updates?
  2. Just to summarize, generally interested are: 1) rB5 2) proflatlander15 3) tevaburns 4) n888aw 5) bkikawa7 6) easton 7) Diggs753 8) TimGinCentralNJ 9) xls 10) cantona7 11) Imaptient 12) smoker 13) Bimmer I wasn't sure if the following people were interested in the Bilstein kit or just had questions. OhBe1? dschultz? steph01? I honestly still have hope we can get Bilstein USA to build us a kit. I don't know how many people they need to make it worth their while. Post up if you think this list is incorrect, or simply just post a corrected one.
  3. B6 is for stock ride-height, B8 is for lowered cars. The B6 are sold as "HD" here in the US, the B8 are sold as "Sport" (or "SP"). From what I read on this website the difference in ride height between Legacy and Outback comes from both a) larger wheels on the Outback b) longer struts If that is true, I don't see how struts that are designed for the Legacy will fit on the Outback without lowering the car. The parts VE3-B830, 831 and BE5-B832 are available in the US and others on this website have mounted these on their Legacys (just search for the part number) without raising their cars. I don't want to sound like Captain Bummer but I think the German route will not give us anything that we don't already have available in the US. Regarding the group buy on the BTS kit from Japan, a couple of questions: 1) What about customs/duty? 2) Should we offer to pay $15000 for 10 kits (incl. all shipping, duties, etc)? 3) I assume the seller would ship to a single address in the US. How much would shipping be from that address to the final buyer, assuming they're all in the lower 48?
  4. I'm keeping my fingers crossed! Guys, thank you so much for all this work!
  5. http://www.bilsteinus.com/rdvehicles.php Who wants to call? It should be someone with better communication and marketing skills than I can offer.
  6. Hi Mike! I'm still looking for a better suspension for my car (debated trading it in for something else for a while actually). Those part numbers are the Bilstein shocks for the Legacy (will not fit the Outback, at least not without lowering, etc.). http://www.allshocks.com/bilstein/html/show_shocks.asp?make=%27SUBARU%27&model=%27Legacy%20spec%20B%27&year=%272005%27 Btw, I also have family in Germany (Bremen) To the OP, yes I'm interested in a GB (at $2K - no way!).
