  1. Mmm….alcantara inserts….(gets tap on shoulder from wife). Oh wait, I have kids who are in my car everyday. Never mind.
  2. Idk wtf they’d bring that to Mexico…but yeah. That’s SOA for you. Apparently everyone in the US wants a SUV or truck, unfortunately we’re the small minority who still likes wagons. That’s a nice hatch/wagon…with STi trim
  3. I’m just glad that it’s living on under someone else. It seems like so many are gone or beyond repair due to deterioration…
  4. I love it thats it’s an analog, not digital, photo. Looks nice, new, and clean! You know, your car didn’t seem to change that much in what you’ve recently posted to this. Still looked pretty clean for having 300+k miles on it.
  5. Is that a JDM HU? Dunno if that’ll work…Japan radio uses a lower/different frequency band than US. From what I remember you have to import a unit from Australia…is there an aux input? You might be better off using the double din and filter
  6. Up for sale are my recently acquired black upper B, C, and D pillars for wagon with SRS. Bought these to start hoarding parts for the conversion process…and the car needs tires now. So these unfortunately have to go. Asking $400 shipped continental US. B pillars include upper and lower trim pieces.
  7. I hope this helps-thank you for posting! This is why this place is so valuable, sharing problems and fixes so that if someone else has a problem it’s documented. I never would have thought an O2 sensor could cause this but it makes sense if it’s not reading properly it could cause this issue…course with these cars when you see a code for one thing it’s usually something else that you’d never think to check….
  8. I should clarify that I did have the dreaded P0021 code…but I would still pull the dp like @KZJonny said to be on the safe side.
  9. Mine sounded like an ambulance or fire truck siren any time I got on the throttle. Thankfully it didn’t grenade, but a shortly after I felt a complete loss of power, so that was that. If it’s at 165k and original, you’re lucky. I’d park it and get that puppy replaced. Change your oil and check for glitter just to be one the safe side.
  10. Check out amayama.com-they’ll have the JDM parts and parts numbers. Shipping isn’t bad, either. I was going to order some new bushings for my JDM aluminum arms and have them installed prior to putting them on the car. Amayama also ships international.
  11. Getting around to getting rid of a few things. Finally found this. It’s a 08+ WRX catless up pipe, came out of a AZ car with around 75k on it. I got a Perrin one so this one’s going. $75 shipped CON US. Leather center console lid from JPN auctions, came out of an early spec b (03-06). Some wear marks on inside, too is in nice shape. Sold Pair of oem headlights with broken mounting tabs. Lenses ok, could use clean up. Good for blacking out or guts for HID conversion. Asking $40 shipped (basically just shipping these are kinda large). whiteline kca399 rear control arm upper outer bushing. BNIB. Bag opened up while cleaning today but basically, new, never installed. Sticking with oem bushings. $35 shipped. Also have the following if anyone is interested: BNIB oem kick panels (non-edm) for 05-09s, two sets.
  12. Thanks! I just bought an 09 WRX steering wheel that could use some love but it’s got the red stitching. I thought about re-doing it but this seems much easier. Appreciate you telling me how you did that, those turned out really nice!
  13. Check your alternator. Same thing happened to the wife last year in her 2006 Tribeca. Dash lit up like a Christmas tree and it quit on her. Thankfully, it was an easy fix. Also keep in mind if your sensors don’t get a specific electrical signal they’ll light up cause they think somethings wrong. I’d start there.
