  1. Sorry but this pedal adj is irritating me!! Pedal adjustment like I explained to Patrick and frank has f&@k all to do with it! I can remove the pedal and slave cylinder and the fork is still tight!! IMHO there is not enough free play, after the break in. I have a feeling the disc thickness under clamp is thinner than the oem causing the diaphragm springs to be more towards the rear or the car, causing the fork to bottom out near the front. Mike
  2. I had the exact same issue as you this summer with exact same setup. No free play on the clutch fork and roasted disc. Bully was saying it was pedal adjustment, but as with you, slave cylinder off the fork was bottomed out. My engine is apart waiting for some parts and some pistons. Mike
  3. I too have pretty much the same setup. Is your disk the full faced organic Kevlar still or full Kevlar? I went with the stage 4c setup full faced Kevlar disc and the act flywheel. I followed bullys recomendation and took a couple thou off the flywheel with a flywheel surface grinder to break thru the hardness and give it a radial arced grinding lines from center of the fw arcing out towards the outside similar to what you would see on thier pp. I have absolutely no shutter nor chatter. Even backing my trailer into the garage. Engagement was near the floor but has since moved up an inch. And full engagement comes after another 2-2.5 inches. This is a beautiful clutch smooth as silk. We will see how it holds up. I didn't notice any more drivetrain noise increase but actually a decrease. But I also changed the trans fluid at the same time with valvoline 75-90.
  4. for the amount of stuff in that sprocket $140 is cheap.. The bafflement never ceases with subaru parts. Some are retarded expensive and some are made in china cheap. I bought an oem fuelpump assembly for $300 for a 2000 na lgt because someone previously had broken off the supply elbow on the top of the unit, and fixed it by jamming a piece of brakeline in it, and using some hot glue to seal it up.. That was my fuel supply problem, that caused the engine to run lean, blow a head gasket..ect ect. Just the pump from napa was $300, Subaru parts, 300 gave me eveything that sits in the tank!! pump sender gasket ect.. Just wierd.. Congrats that must make you feel good!!
