  1. Replacing the seals on the front of the motor isn't too hard of a job. As long as you can lock the cam gears in place, and are careful not to strip the bolts while breaking them loose. If the motor is fine, it's way cheaper than doing a full replacement! I know that doesn't answer the shop question, but it's an option.
  2. I just did the same thing to my wagon! Still have to wrap the wood trim, and am deciding on black vs tan center console.
  3. Airbag delete for now... Not really worth the lack of safety, but I do like the look/feel. Funny thing is, the dealer completely marred up my dash during the recall. It was only about a month ago when I found a replacement (and black carpet) at the local pick 'n pull. Front lip is just the unpainted frp, with some trim black and coat of wax. Slightly glossy/satin sheen!
