  1. Running my 09 5speed manual in a demo derby-enduro 200 lap race. Looking for any hints/tips/tricks to help keep her going. Main question is: it has to be either front wheel or rwd. I was just going to take out the driveshaft and plug the hole up, however people are saying would still have to weld the center diff to move. If I have to weld the diff would it be better to make it rwd? It’s a dirt track. Other things I’m thinking, taking out thermostat and running straight water. Thoughts? Any thing else?
  2. 05 GT. Drivers side fan always runs even when cold and key on 2. Says the recall has already been complete. No CEL. Could the relay have gone bad again? Bad temp sensor? Ecu? Any way to diag? If it’s ECU, is there any work around? Have a tune on it and really don’t want to pay to have it done again - tuner is 2 hours away - OS.

  4. Stock basket. Bought the correct size o rings, tried just a single one. Tried one under the pusher upper thing and one above. Just tried doing new o ring on top of the pusherupper thing with the stick o ring on top of that still nothing. Gas is still squirting up from around the o ring, it’s not seating correctly. Only thing I can think of is Walbro changed something and the o ring that’s supposed to work, isn’t correct anymore. Any insight?
  5. Having issues with this mod. It’s going back into the sending unit really tight. Can hear the pump when key on 2. Car will fire for half a second then lose fuel pressure. Works with stock pump. 2005 legacy GT, tuned on the stock pump - 304 horsepowers. Only thing I can think is the sock is too hard on the bottom and cutting flow off. I’m afraid if I grind more of the pump off I’ll lose the springs. Any advice?
  6. Hey all, I’m doing a VF52 swap. Can I use the one on the vf40? How about the vf52? Or do I absolutely need the 1mm one? What are the ramifications of each one? Any DIY solutions? Just getting my ducks in a row before I start throwing things back together Fwiw: 2005 legacy GT with 257 block, catless uppipe, High flow dp, 3in catback, Cobb intake, stock fueling (I’m poor and can’t get bigger injectors or pump yet). running an E tune currently and getting a street tune when everything’s all put together. You guys recommend OS or AP?
  7. I bought a 2005 legacy gt. I knew going into it that it had a grimspeed cai, an up pipe and a down pipe, and I thought that’s all it had. Being that it’s an auction car, I had no idea if someone had an ap on it and took it off before auction. I put a v3 ap on it and tried the stage 1 and stage 2 tune. Both tunes ran like crap and we’re wicked lean, Like 20+.... I unmarried the ap for what it was before. Which FYI pulls really hard. Do those mods usually make it run stupid lean on a stage 2 Ots tune? Is there anyway to figure out what tune it has on it? I’ll be going through the car today to check for other mods ie injectors, boost controller, fuel pump etc. anything I should specifically be on the look for?
