My 08, I got into a fender bender, needed a new rack, new headlight all subframe for rad, rad, etc, I assemble it all got lucky they damaged my hood on delivery(it wasn't OEM important later!). SAVE 500!.... Pay for a bumper & paint think it was under $500 sill haven't put it on thank god.....So get the hood painted and they install it, its a steel hood /w scoop for a spec/gt....When I pick it up I did a piss poor job tacking the apron or the main support to the bottom of radiator and the top bar another shitty tack on one side but its held in by two bolts, they warned me that they recommend I get it properly repaired as the hood my fly up, I was like BS this guy doesnt know the inner workings of Subaru body work (but I MR SUBRU DOES)... SO fast forward a few weeks later I just gas up, the bumper isn't on, head for the interstate, saw a JA Honda flick the button in the center console to sport # I have VF-52! Idk how fast it was next thing I know HOOD flies up smashes windshield bends over the top slams my sunroof(BECAUSE IT WASN'T A OEM ALUMINUM HOOD, IT WOULD HAVE NEVER CRACKED MY SUNROOF!) I learned that all scooped hoods are AL. So I pull off Im like f*************, i found a strap tied it down drove home , no insurance called, NO COPS, IM SAFE! Now what, I JUST GOT a new rack for a 1000 installed, Safelite wants over 1k for the sunroof... Luckily I also had a wrecked 2007 Spec B front end damage that was dying to get rid of, read the FSM its 4 bolts for the sunroof glass, pop out the 07 pop it in the 08, moment of truth I splash with water NO LEAKS, call safelite $500 W/E, great subaru parts place in the middle of nowhere PA THEY HAVE EVERYTHING, found a black(thought gray hood) $200... Boom after my hood trashing my car I spent less than my 750 deductible fixing my car granted the hood is held on by a cable but I have no garage to work in, and i need to install my brand new bumper...I've spent a lot on this car been told to sell the POS by everyone I KNOW, I drove by myself after my buddy ditched me, drove up in the beginning of the panemic from NJ to CT to get this car, got pulled over by NYPD lol, took more than 18 hours.... KEEEP IT Anyone who wants or cares, I have pics of the before, the damage and how she sits now, I have an invidia catback, I tatrix my bad boy, it gets about 300+ at the wheels

**Sorry I posted the e-bay link but this is in reference to the Russian Double Din Facia for $60 I actually purchased this 2 years prior to the sanctions from this guy, then found it super hard to get just a dual Auto Zone on its own, without facia self... If anyone needs one I have one for sale! Exactly as pictured and fits! can take pics! I had mine sitting and my e button wasn't hooked up so I ripped my stereo out to hook up e-light for inspection and yanked one wire out of my JDM HVAC....no controls, luckily ealy on someone had a diagram, it was a year and half I wired it up lol. Would love a plug and play harness

his is my bumper off my 2008 Legacy Spec B, there is a small blemish and a few dings, its 12 years old. No issues with mounting brackets of pieces. Pics Looking for $600 obo as is Dar Gray and the blemish can most likely be compounded out. Sorry, I have pics of it but not pics for someone to make a informed decision, which I will have up tomorrow, I removed it from my 2007 Spec B cover to my 08 as it doesn't have the annoying reflectors. There is a blemish that I believe can be compounded out. These are are just general pictures, more in depth tomorrow Since there were two colors, in 08 it is the Diamond Gray one. No issues with material damage a few dings as its 13 years old? -Sorry I thought I had some, will post tomorrow

cobb has the subaru market in a choke hold.....

Its' funny when I bought the car it came with a cobb V-2 I believe, the older model. The unit was so fragile. The screen maybe 4-6inx6-8in and when a button was pressed the lcd would be impacted by the normal pressing. Worst was the availability of "maps", I think there were 3 that were "useable for me " ples a stock? and failsafe?, irregardless it was sadly limited. I instantly foun dout about the tuning program but $150 to tell me what I know GTFO. THe car had a sad SPT catback, and the cobb, no other mods. I ran a regular little bit of aggressive tune on a 70F day, overboost, wtf is this, ny 2007 with a VF-52 and stock exhaust and open source tune never overboosted. I talked to cobb read all about overboost, change to a "Low(er) wastegate map, OVERBOOST.... I swapped the VF52 off my 2007, my Invidia catback and cobb intake, copied the ecu. Its not the same monster but I'm trying to get it close.

I've learned all this information maybe 3 months ago, got a hold of IDA. the plugins, other decompilers, I a Computer Science Major, bit machine code , is decades old? before basic and focused on Object Oriented Programming, which I can follow the algorithms but the code? There ahs been much talk about 32-bit density, but its N/a for my 08 Spec B. I've rad all the guides on tuning, mafscaling, the spreadsheets and understanding the concepts, interpreting the logged date is tedious and IMHO a steep learning curve. I just got a WBO2, but I was cheap on the down pipe, I think it has rust its nota month old, but I'm un employedd, parts for the 2007 spec have to start going. And I just removed a complete OEM 2008 Spec B Full Suspension with 131k on the struts and OEM springs. No major damage, some surface rust

When I purchased the car, it came with a V2 Accessport, which I realized I, never looked but some differences between the V2 & V3. I had just had a 07 spec b with 300 @ the wheels, no injectors, no fuel pump, stock exhaust, cobb cold air, vf53 swap with an open source tune. On sport sharp it MOVED.......I have the dyno too and copied the rom. Tried to replace on my 2008. 07 open source was done by a well known tuner and his education of subarus is immense. I asked about certain mods, he could have sold me own, but was completely honest and said u dont need that because. I know tunes are vehicle specific, but with Ecuflash/Romraider they both show the same ecu is used for both, which I thought odd unless maybe it was a alte 07 and early 2008. So I was unimpressed with cobb, I had the option of a few maos, all caused overboost, Im not buying a boost control as I made a lot more HP and didn't need one. I've since added an invidia catback, but the car has the identical ecu map, no missing every para matches up. As far as mods on the 07 all I know, is cobb intake, and vf52, which boost seems to come too early and too fast? Wastegate settings. I've used direct copes of the ROM, rescaled the maf I don't wanna mess with timing, but I noticed in my logs some anomalies. Would you wind taking a look at the rom? I've modified so it has significant changes from the original tuner, any assistance is greatly appreciated
