  1. Ok, so I have an 05 GT. It’s got an aftermarket turbo, with an external waste gate, and a lot of supporting upgrades. Recently I noticed some of my monitoring items acting up and then Monday morning it started over boosting. I only apply about half throttle and my boost spikes to about 25 psi and then the computer cuts the power. I checked all of the vacuum lines (and replaced one) nothing looks out of place. Does anyone have any idea as to what I should check? All of my upgrades have only about 4k on them. And the engine only has about 6k.
  2. Hey guys. So my tuner is having an issue turning my boost up. He keeps saying it’s most likely related to my ecbs. Has anyone run into problems with the Cobb boost controller?
  3. Dude I thought something was off. It’s where the post ended up. And yeah, that’s what I’m leaning on too. I have a friend that does transmissions I’m gunna take it too. I just know I can’t afford the bill right now.
  4. Hey All, So I just bought an 05 Legacy GT with the 5 speed manual. I’ve noticed that every so often that it doesn’t like to shift into 3rd (very rare), downshifting from 5th to 4th doesn’t always happen, and reverse is often a real pain to shift into. Does anyone have any possible ideas on what I should be looking at, before I just assume the trans is bad? FYI the clutch feels perfect. Don’t think it’s that.
  5. I just bought an 05, the turbo was just replaced 15 miles before I bought it. He admitted that it was a cheap turbo that was less then 200 US dollars. Obviously it’s not the greatest option, but it works fine for me at the moment. I have plenty of power and with 1200 miles I have no issues yet. I know the oem is about $800 so this might be a good option to at least get the car functioning for a sale.
